1. Agreement
By creating an account, clicking accept, or using the platform you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
2. The service
We provide tools to discover Bangladesh suppliers and products, publish listings, run RFQs, exchange messages, request support, and use related features (including a credit wallet for soft-gated contact reveals). We are a marketplace / facilitation platform — not a party to purchase contracts between buyers and suppliers unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
3. Accounts
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
• One person or company may not create accounts to evade bans, quotas, or fees.
• You are responsible for activity under your login. Notify us of unauthorised access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, or Terms breaches.
4. Company profiles and listings
• Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of company details, certifications, and product content.
• Listings must comply with export, product-safety, and advertising laws applicable to you.
• We may remove content that is illegal, misleading, infringing, or harmful to marketplace trust.
• Public profile URLs (/c/{slug}) and published products may be indexed by search engines and shared socially.
5. RFQs, quotations, and messaging
RFQs and quotes are commercial communications between users. You must not use messaging for spam, phishing, or harassment. We may retain records for dispute and safety purposes.
6. Reviews and ratings
Logged-in users may leave one review per company (updates allowed). Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free of illegal or abusive content. We may hide reviews after abuse reports or moderation. Fake reviews or review manipulation are prohibited.
7. Credits and quotas
Contact reveals and certain deep views may use daily soft quotas and/or wallet credits. Credit balances, top-ups, and pricing are described in-product. Credits are not cash, are non-transferable except as we allow, and unused credits may expire if stated in the product UI. Top-up requests may require manual confirmation.
8. Acceptable use
You must not: scrape the service beyond normal browsing; reverse engineer beyond lawful interoperability; upload malware; misrepresent identity or certifications; interfere with security or quotas; or use the platform for unlawful goods (including controlled substances, weapons where prohibited, or sanctions evasion).
9. Intellectual property
We own the platform software, branding, and original content. You retain rights to content you upload and grant us a worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the marketplace (including SEO previews and sitemaps).
10. Disclaimers
The marketplace and supplier information are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, that a supplier will fulfil an order, or that verification badges eliminate all risk. Independent due diligence remains your responsibility.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sourcing in Bangladesh (sourcinginbangladesh.com) and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or business interruption arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us for credits/subscriptions in the three months before the claim or (b) USD 100.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, listings, transactions, or breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Dhaka have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where allowed.
